Teignbridge Play Network (TEPEE)
Introduction to TEPEE - TEPEE offers help and support though an enabling community development approach which aims to stimulate interest and involvement in play and is followed up with training and support.
TEPEE co-ordinates play opportunities, and provides advice, including access to funding - to enable groups to grow and expand, improve their quality and provide affordable play provisions throughout the Teignbridge area.
Based – Teignbridge (Devon)

Key Projects and Outcomes (determined through initial meeting)
1. ICT Support – To be able to have local support on hand who can provide ‘hands on’ technical support.
2. Training – To be able to source training in excel and website design (FrontPage) to help ensure the organisation takes control as much as possible of their ICT needs.
3. Website - Ensure current website is accessible ensuring that it conforms to current industry standards.
4. General – To have information on key ICT issues so the organisation can improve it’s efficiency.
Evolve Actions and Developments
1. TEPEE was put in touch with a local ‘circuit rider’ who understands the needs of the sector and who could provide sustainable ‘hands on’ technical support when required.
2. The organisation was signposted to training courses in website design, along with highlighting fantastic online training options available through the Microsoft Website.
3. Information was provided on accessibility as well as TEPEE put in touch with Julia Taylor – Regional Accessibility Champion at COSMIC to arrange a free accessibility check on their website through AbilityNet
4. Information was provided on key IT issues such as computer housekeeping, ICT funding sources, backups and ICT strategy.
